Ivar > 05 December 08 (1 of 3) Haight Street, San Francisco. I was trying to do some street-photography on this awesome street. I wasn't finding my photography-mojo, though :( This truck was standing still at a crossing, and it had a really cool mirror attached to it. From where I was standing, you can see the entire back of the truck, me and Schmoo.
Ivar > 25 April 08 Closing my eyes a bit, because of a headache. I have started eating according to the ETL diet (mostly, I'm still cheating) that nearly everyone at SmugMug, as well as some dgrinners are on. In general I am feeling better, but I think my body is stil adjusting and giving me headaches. I *never* have headaches; I think I had two in the last ten years or so. Note my freakishly long eye-lashes. I've always had a lot of, and long eyelashes... They even hit my sunglasses when I blink, haha.
Ivar > 03 Sep 08 Okay, so I don't drink coffee, but there is a good reason for this shot. Well, sort of :) I was putting some bread in the toaster. The toaster was on the other side of the kitchen. However, the toaster was on the same countertop as the coffee machine!! I saw some shiny object, and decided to make that part of my daily :)
Ivar > 21 October 08 Taken in the train, going back home from Amsterdam airport. You can see a big empty space, where my suitcase should have been :) The flight back wasn't perfect, in the sense that my first flight from Orlando to Chicago didn't go on time (mechanical problem, can't do anything about that) and that resulted in me missing my connecting flight to Amsterdam. They arranged for a connecting flight via London Heathrow, which I barely made, but my suitcase didn't :D I was back only 12 hours later, so it wasn't that bad. My suitcase was at my place within the next 24 hours also, so that all was not really a big deal after all.
Ivar > 03 August 08 Getting bagels at Bagels&Beans. Yum! I didn't gain 100lbs all of a sudden, but the round puffy face was created by the napkin-holder :) ... more to follow ...
Ivar > 17 April 08 I'm not sure if I like this, or not. It's different, that's for sure. I'll give 10 ivar-points to the person who knows what I photographed :) EDIT: No one got the 10 points :( It was actually a reflection photographed in a lamp. It's a big ball-like, white, clouded glass lamp :)
Ivar > 06 December 08 (1 of 3) I didn't actually take this shot, but I found it on my camera, hahaha. I think it was Schmoo's doing. This is me, talking to Dee. It was taken at the Digital Grin Birthday party. I have known Dee for quite a while (years), but never actually met her. We've worked together on quite a few of the SmugMug themes. She's great at doing artwork. My thing is more the coding of the themes. I think we made a pretty good team.
Ivar > 19 April 08 "Look momma, I can stand on my hands!" One..... Two..... One..... Two..... Doing a bit of stretching before my run. I found it does make a difference. I have to be careful not to run too much and too often. Running is something that is addictive, to me, but I don't need to run myself into problems. The good thing about running is that it's relaxing, as weird as it sounds. Also, in case I don't remember what's left or right, all I need to do is take off my shoes :)
