Ivar > 24 April 08 Back to basic. I never actually made a shot like the above. The color is a bit 'weird', mainly because I know what it is supposed to look like. I like my new jeans :) I've had a small dip in my dailies the last few days, mainly because other things have been on my mind. I haven't kept up and commented on all of your dailies, but I promise I'll catch up soon!
Ivar > 13 April 08 Oh how I hated Italy.... I was working for a different company at that time; I was visiting locations/summercamps for a commercial company that organized them to make sure everything was going as planned, and to solve possible problems. My phone rings: "Hi, we have a problem in Italy, we've booked you on a plane tomorrow morning" (I was still at a different location at that time). Oh... Ok... Mind you, I had never been to Italy at that time. Venice airport turned out to be a smaller airport near Venice. Okay, I'm in Italy, what now? Finally found a bus that took me to a railway station. Once there, again, what now? I had no clue where to go as I came straight from the other location. No one spoke English and my Italian is about as good as my Inuit language. I managed to somehow get a ticket for the train, and a paper saying what times my trains (plural) were leaving. To bad I never had to go to the final destination of the trains, and that was of course the only thing the signs told me. "Hmm, this train seems about right, I guess". It was getting dark, and the signs at the railway stations were not lit, of course. Where to get out of the train was the next problem. 9 hours, 3 trains and 4 buses later, I arrived only to find out that the problem really wasn't that much of a problem at all. Italy, summer, nice weather, right? It was freezing at night!!! so I bought this sweater thing at the market to keep me warm.
Ivar > 12 June 08 Some days I just feel so cheap :D They sell a lot of me at the IKEA, actually (and I sold myself there, a long time ago, hahaha). Not clearly visible, but there is some sort of an outline of me in the reflection on the plastic.
Ivar > 09 September 09 I've always wanted to learn to fly :) I had a hotel stay today. I decided that I wanted to learn to fly (aka "jump on the bed"). It was kind of dangerous, actually, since the ceilings weren't very high. On the way back home some idiot driver forced me off the road, making me hit a temporary hard-shoulder from the road that was being worked on. Of course I had a flat tire. And of course it was raining. And of course, no one stopped to check on me or help me with my tire. I also uploaded more shots. Sometimes I take photos, but I just don't have the time to upload them on that day.
Ivar > 31 August 08 (alternate I) That reminds me; I need to go see 'Kung Fu Panda'.... (wow, I uploaded 4 shots today (one from yesterday), a new record!)
Ivar > 01 Jan 09 Just me (unshaven, and with the focus on the wrong eye :).
Ivar > 04 May 08 Sitting outside, enjoying the sun. There was lots of it, today :D
Ivar > 22 Mar 08 Waiting at a bus stop. Panning is hard, especially with a point-and-shoot camera. It takes longer to focus, and manual focus takes a bit to get used to. It's good exercise to get to know the camera, though. (G9)
Ivar > 11 September 08 A man's got to do what a man's got to do. The dishes :D And more cleaning too, actually. Vacuuming, washing clothes, dishes and errands. It was kind of a 'surprise' daily, actually. I was going with something else, and had already shot that, but then I saw my reflection all of a sudden, when cleaning out the washer.
