My (sort of) daily photos; I'm doing my best to get a new photo in here every day. It started out as a 'daily photo' project but somehow it morphed in to a 'daily self-portrait' project. At least a part of me, somehow, has to make it in the photo. It's about when it was taken, not when it was posted. Sometimes I don't have time to post it, or no access to a computer that same day.

No continents and countries were hurt in the making of these dailies, although 2 continents, 6 countries and 2 crown dependencies have been used so far; see where my dailies were taken.

Centre Pompidou, Modern Art Museum, Paris.

I've been to quite a few (modern) art museums. Some art i liked, most I understood. Most art of the elles@centrepompidou exhibition was too hard to understand for me, though.

This was taken at the entrance of the exhibition: male artist names turned female.
Besides Francine Bacon (Francis Bacon), other names included Annie Warhol (Andy Warhol), Joséphine Beuys (Joseph Beuys) and La Corbusier (Le Corbusier).

I'm taking a photography course. It's a basic course at the School for Professional Photography, and it's a lot of fun. It's basically an introduction to a lot of things. From the basics of the camera, to studio shooting, and a lot more. Also, a lot of shooting; Free work for each next class, plus some assignments.

One assignment for the next class is to 'copy an existing photograph'. Any photo would be allowed, as long is it was interesting, and at least a bit challenging in a certain way.

Even before this assignment, I've been a fan of Abbie Warnock's 'Devil's Advocate', and I already had plans to give something like that a shot.
This assignment was the perfect opportunity! I arranged for a helping hand, some time, black background and some face paint...

Romeo, the cat, apparently really likes my leg. Even though it would seem he put himself in some sort of weird position and is about to break his neck, he decided to go sleep on my leg. My leg answered by going to sleep itself....

This bass guitar was shot at a rehearsal studio. S. plays in a band, and the band was in need of some shots. I spend a good amount of time in a dimly lit, small place, but I do think there may be a few keepers.

I had a night-stop in Antwerp (Belgium), for work. I actually had the afternoon and evening off, so I decided to walk around a bit. I brought my camera and tripod, too, of course.
